Do ladybirds eat monach caterpillars

Ladybirds primarily feed on aphids and other small soft-bodied insects, not typically on larger caterpillars like monarchs. While they may consume small caterpillars or eggs, the size and chemical defenses of monarch caterpillars generally deter ladybirds from preying on them.
