What is killing Maui's dolphin?

Maui's dolphins, a subspecies of the South Island's Hector's dolphins, are found only off the west coast of the North Island. They are the world's rarest marine dolphin, classified internationally as critically endangered.. They may be technically extinct already. Why? Essentially we (humans) have stolen or impacted negatively upon their life requirement resources with little or no established care or concern.
