What is the difference between oilfield and oil refinery?

In contrast, an oil refinery is a facility that processes and transforms crude oil into various petroleum products, such as gasoline, diesel, and jet fuel, through refining processes. Essentially, oilfields are the source of crude oil, while refineries are where that crude oil is converted into usable products.
