What kind of bug is a sekada?

A "sekada" is the Filipino term for a cicada, an insect known for its distinctive loud calls produced by males to attract females. Cicadas belong to the family Cicadidae and are characterized by their large eyes, transparent wings, and robust bodies. They are often associated with warm climates and are most active during the summer months.
