In The sims 2 how do you make a family move to a different house?

To make a family move to a different house first you must click on the demolition button then click on the house that the family is living in. Then a window will pop up and ask you if you would like to evict the family. Click yes. It will then ask, would you like to demolish the property. It is up to you whether or not you want to destroy the house or not.
