Unless you purchase a new computer with this software installed, you can and should not obtain it for free. Software must be purchased, just like any other commodity. While software and other products like digital music seem ok to get from others for free, this is theft as much as if you had stolen a radio from a department store. Companies that produce products like these spend lots of money to make them, and rely on purchases to help defray that cost, and to make a profit. Without payment, these companies would not be able to make new products. There are operating systems, however, that are "open source", meaning they are open and free to anyone to use.
