How much does it cost to rent an apartment in Fresno?

Well, it depends on what part of town you want to live in Fresno. It has been a long time since I rented, but I have more or less kept up with the prices . In and around CSUF will most likely be 800-1000.00 a month, further south maybe a bit better. Around Clinton and First there were always cheaper apartments, but these are older and the further south you go the older they get. I always like the Tower District and since it is so popular these days my bet is they are in the 1000-1200.00 a month range. In North Fresno you will pay high rents of starting around 1200.00 up. From what I understand rents are going up because the demand is high. People are loosing their homes and need to rent so the rentals are starting to run low. There is a new complex on Gettysburg in Clovis that looks pretty good. Figure an average of 1200.00 and you will be in the right ball park.
