How do you get giritina in Pokemon HeartGold?

To gain access to Giratina, you must have beaten the Elite Four and obtained the National Pokedex. Go to Route 214 and search for the Spring Path. Follow the Spring Path to Sendoff Spring.Climb down the wall using Rock Climb and enter the Turnback Cave where Giratina could be found.
