What genre is Charlie Bone and the Time Twister?

the genre is adventure, mystery, fiction, Science Fiction , and maybe so e more but I'm only 10 years old and I understood the book. Some people think the book is confusing And my librarian said then you must have read at the wrong timen life if you didn't/don't understand the book.! :)
