What can I say instead of using I several times in an interview thank you?

When you are asked a question about yourself, there are a limited number of ways of replying. For example, what kind of work have you done in the past?

Answers could be: I have worked as a carpenter, or, my previous work includes carpentry. Or to be really terse, just say carpentry.
