What does otaku mean in English?

Otaku is a person who is highly skilled or obsessed in anime. They spend more time in designing cosplay, collecting anime figurines, and watching anime than normal people. The Word otaku came from the Japanese Word "house", where nerds and geeks tend to spend their time. In the West, otaku became the Word to call people if they are obsessed with anime.
