How many hours does a construction worker work in a week?

I worked in oilfield construction for the summer when I was 21. I had no idea what to expect and it turned ou to be a great experience. I worked 58 hours a week the whole summer. It was hard work, but I really enjoyed it. At the end of the summer I almost wanted to stay and not go back to college. But my parents told me to go back to school, so I did.
