Yes. The second hand smoke is taken in by everyone in the house. That includes children, dogs, cats and can affect the health of all of the family members. Your child can have a higher rate of respiratory problems because of her father's smoking and this will effect him/her all of her life, not just when he/she is around the smoke. Non smokers can and do get lung cancer from being around second hand smoke.
