It is safe for a dog to eat pineApples, but in moderation. Too much can lead to diarrhea because pineApples can be very acidic. However, if the dog has some sort of disease or illness, pineApples may not be safe for them at all, depending on the disease. It would be best to consult a veterinarian because every dog is different. If the dog is perfectly healthy, then giving him/her some pineApple, but not too much, is safe. PineApple has even been known to stop dogs from eating their poo.
