Guinea pigs can eat both Oranges and cabbage however, cabbage does have a tendency to cause flatulence in guinea pigs, so it should be fed to them only occasionally.

Too much cabbage or lettuce may also give your pig diarrhea, so only occasionally is good advice.

Orange pieces SHOULD be fed to your pig regularly (once a week or more) as they need the vitamin C to prevent scurvy. Plus, oranges are a favorite treat for mine. Note: Your pig may have scurvy if you notice scabbing, hair loss, or excessive scratching.
