This card gains 1000 ATK for each Continuous Trap Card in your Graveyard. Once per turn, you can destroy 1 Set Spell or Trap Card your opponent controls. Spell and Trap Cards cannot be activated in response to this effect's activation.

This sentence implies that Uria, Lord of Searing Flamescan only be Special Summoned from your Hand. As a general rule, unless the card specifially states that it is Special Summoned from the Deck, you can assume that it is referring to your Hand.
