What is a water bear?

It is a small segmented creature (4 segments), very hardy, can survive extreme temperatures and take 1000 times the radiation of other creatures. It is called a water bear because it resembles a bear. Usually found in mossy places, and dunes or beaches. Phyllum tardigrada.
