How do you treat a skin burn from oregano oil?

When I accidentally did this I washed the area thoroughly with soap and water. Ran it under cold water for a long time. Then I used a medicinal honey bandage (changed daily) for several days. Some pharmacies carry bandaging material already containing the honey under the name MediHoney. There may be other brands as well.
