Where is edit button iTunes?

Sync your iDevice with iTunes. When your iDevice shows up on the left, click it. A screen should appear on the right, displaying your iDevice's information. There will be a button saying "Check for Update". Click on that, and it will tell you if your software is up-to-date.*
