Is IBM acquired by Lenovo

Lenovo acquired IBM's Personal Computer Division in 2005, which included the ThinkPad line of laptops. However, IBM itself remains an independent company focused on cloud computing, Artificial Intelligence, and enterprise solutions. The acquisition allowed Lenovo to expand its presence in the global PC market while IBM shifted its focus away from consumer hardware.
