Black widow egg sacs typically take about 14 to 30 days to hatch, depending on environmental conditions such as temperature and humidity. Warmer temperatures can accelerate the hatching process, while cooler conditions may prolong it. Each sac can contain anywhere from 200 to 900 eggs. After hatching, the spiderlings remain close to the sac for a short period before dispersing.
