Having genital herpes in the mouth is rare. People more commonly have HSV1 (what causes cold sores and fever blisters) on their mouth.
If you do happen to have it HSV2 in your mouth then avoid kissing on or around the mouth while there is any sign of blisters or sores. It's safer to kiss when there are no signs of a break out.
