Do hedgehogs camouflage

Yes. The short-beaked echidna can blend into its surroundings where it lives in grasslands and bushland. Even in the desert it can blend in with the spiky desert grasses known as spinifex.

Long-beaked echidnas also blend into their mountainous, bushy habitat.
