Who are taong tabon?

Taong Tabon, or "Tabon Man," refers to the remains of early humans discovered in the Tabon Caves of Palawan, Philippines, in the late 1960s. These remains date back approximately 22,000 to 24,000 years and are considered some of the earliest evidence of human presence in the Philippines. The discovery includes a skull and various artifacts, indicating a complex society that engaged in hunting and gathering. The Taong Tabon findings have played a significant role in understanding the prehistoric human migration and settlement patterns in Southeast Asia.
