What were the similarities between Michelangelo's art and Leonardo da Vinci's art?

Both Michelangelo and Leonardo da vinci were interested in movement. Michelangelo sculpted and painted nudes because he wanted to show the movement of the human body through the muscles. Da Vinci had a technique called sfumato, which gives his images a smoky, misty effect which makes them look like they are moving.
