Same as a non-bilingual nurse. Being bilingual does not equal being a qualified RN. Look at the ANA website and start seeing what is really important in nursing if you are interested.

While being a qualified RN is obviously a requirement, salaries for nurses vary considerably around the country. To begin you research, compare the salaries for the different areas of the country you are considering. Don't forget to also compare the cost of living in theses areas, as this may influence your decision.

Being bilingual, in any language, is a valuable added skill, just like a medical specialty is, and should be compensated accordingly. If you have not done so already, consider taking a medical terminology course for your other language. That extra certificate, will not only better prepare you and validate your skills, it will also mean extra money for you!
