Was Cleopatra good looking

We don't know for certain, but from the latest reconstruction of her face, she would not be particularly good looking by our standards. The ancient writers say that she was not beautiful, that she was merely average looking. The reconstructions of her face shows her with rather high cheekbones and a large hooked nose. Her face is generally fleshy and the reconstructors speculate that she was, to put it nicely, "plump". This is all we know about her physical appearance at this time. When and if they ever find her tomb the reconstructors can work with the remains of the real Cleopatra and a more realistic picture of her will emerge.
