What are animals in the Central Valley region of California?

Pronghorn antelope, elk, mule deer, cougars, bobcats, coyotes, gophers, mice, ground squirrels, hares, rabbits, kangaroo rats, the San Joaquin Kit Fox, wintering birds, migrating birds, the San Joaquin coachwhip snake, Gilbert's skink, the western aquatic garter snake, the blunt-nosed leopard lizard, and lots of flying and ground-based insects make California's Central Valley region their home.
