Leave him alone in a separate feeding tank. Count out how many pellets you put in and leave him for 30minutes. When you come back count how many there are. If he hasn't eaten any get some dried shrimp(from a pet store in the reptile section don't make it, cause turtles can only eat some kinds of shrimp, others can hurt them.) If he doesn't go for the shrimp then buy some feeder fish, If you have other turtles then let them kill and rip into a fish, and offer then some chunks of raw fish to him. Swivel it right under his nose in the water. He will probably go for it. Fish is they're natural prey so one that has been killed and ripped into gives off a tempting smell for the turtle. If you don't have any other turtles then you can try holding the fish over the turtles head or in front of him. He might try to bite it, let him. It's not fun to do but the baby needs to eat.
