Are Kellogg's pop tarts suitable for vegetarians?

Kellog's Pop-Tarts (all fruit flavors, gingerbread, sugar cookie, brown sugar cinnamon [frosted, unfrosted, and lowfat], cinnamon roll, oatmeal delights flavors) do not contain eggs, dairy, Gelatin or milk byproducts. Sweetened with sugar and high fructose corn syrup, they also do not contain honey. However, some vegans do not eat refined sugar because it is sometimes processed with animal bone char. For this reason, some would say that pop tarts are vegan and others would not. Some flavors do contain dairy and/or egg ingredients--including chocolate chip, chocolate chip cookie dough, chocolate fudge, marshmallow Hot Chocolate, hot fudge sundae, s'mores, pumpkin pie, confetti cupcake, and cookies & cream.
