John Cadbury, the founder of the Cadbury chocolate company, lived in Birmingham, England. He was born there in 1801 and spent much of his life in the city, where he established his first shop in 1824. Cadbury later moved to the area of Bournville, a suburb of Birmingham, where he built a large factory and created a model village for his workers.
