Did the snake that God created before Adam have a name?

We are not given in The Bible any reference that God has given names to animals. But we see that He gave stars names in Psalms 147:4 "He telleth the number of the stars; he calleth them all by their names." So it's possible that God gave all the creatures a name, but we don't know that for sure.

We do know that God let the man name the creatures He made. Genesis 2:19 "And out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof."
