Can porcelain be melted down and reshaped?

Porcelain cannot be easily melted down and reshaped like some other materials due to its high firing temperature and crystalline structure. Once it is fired, porcelain undergoes a transformation that makes it more durable and less malleable. While it is technically possible to grind it into a powder and mix it with other materials to create a new form, this process does not result in a straightforward melting and reshaping. Therefore, traditional porcelain items cannot be remolded in the same way as materials like glass or metal.
