Where is the blower motor resister located on 97 chev halfton?

behind the glove box and on top of the blower case. remove the glove box door by squeezing in the sides and pulling down. don't forget to release the plastic strap on the left side before you move it all the way down. now look on top of the blower case for an electrical connector sticking straight up. that's the blower resistor. remove the two 7mm screws and the connector and pull it out. there is just enough room to get it out of the case but it is a tight fit. be careful so that the resistor coils don't bend and touch each other when you Install the new
