I would say that the reason this happens during the cold times of the year is because you're more likely to wear jackets. The jackets trap any sweat from your body--you still sweat, just not as much as during the hot seasons--and the sweat reabsorbs into your skin, which can cause breakouts. How can you stop this? I'm not quite sure of the answer to this, but i would say to look for skin care products that have salysic acid (I spelled that Word wrong, my apologies) or benzoyl peroxide and use them on these areas that break out.
