Does a snowy owl have legs?

Snowy owls have "egg teeth" to break open the eggs they hatch from. Ancient birds had teeth but during their evolution they lost the ability to produce enamel. Birds developed specialized beaks instead. Snowy owls swallow small prey whole as most other raptors.
