Do seals eat pepples and sand?

Seals do not intentionally eat pebbles and sand; however, they may accidentally ingest them while foraging for food. Some species of seals use their mouths to sift through sediment to find fish and crustaceans, which can lead to the ingestion of small stones or sand. While this can happen, it is not a regular part of their diet. Seals primarily feed on fish, squid, and other marine animals.
