What information is found on a rate card?

A rate card is an advertising document or card that states the advertising rates offered by an organization. This card lists information like ad sizes available, price per ad size, the number of lines in the ad, and how often the ad will run. Even though the pricing on a rate card is fixed, what a customer actually pays can usually be negotiated to fit the customer's personal needs. The rate card is generally used only as a sales pitch to compare to the advertising rates of other organizations.
