No power to headlight hi low beams 1984 Honda GL1200 Aspencade?

First check bulb, if good, must be in the switch. Bad contact. Open it up and clean the contacts.

The headlight circuit on these bikes goes through the starter switch as well. If part of that switch goes bad the headlight will not work.
