Why doesn't the front ac fans work on 2000 Mercedes clk 430?

Most likely an electrical problem. A disconnected wire or a blown fuse.

Has anyone worked under the dashboard of late? Do you see any loose wires?

Are there other items not working? If you have a group of things not working it is probably a fuse.
