What does it mean to find small feathers?

Not all naturally occurring phenomenon can or should be considered a sign or omen.

Finding lots of small feathers in a relatively small area is usually the sign of a kill. Some local predator has had a meal and the feathers are not something it would eat.

If you find a lot of little feathers in a small area indoors, your family pet is most likely the culprit, unless there has been a pillow fight.

The feathers would have to be placed in a very specific pattern for them to be deliberate, and feather magic is not common.
