Ingredients to candy warheads

Extreme sour warheads uses malic acid as a coating to give them their extreme sour flavor. They also put some malic acid in the center of the candy. The strong sour flavor lasts for about 20 seconds. The candy itself contains citric and ascorbic acid, which are also sour, though not as sour as malic acid.
