These beetles live in the desert. To get water, they bow with their head down and their back higher up. Fog condenses on the beetle's back into water droplets, which then roll down their back into their mouth. When mating, males must chase after females, which is rather hard, considering the female's faster speed. Also, if they do mate, it is possible that if another male mates after, the first male's sperm could be replaced by the next one.
