Does an Xbox elite hardrive work on an Xbox 360?

It should work, i mean... It has the same "Latch on" way of putting it on, so... Just because the name says "Xbox Elite HDD" doesn't mean it wont work, i think it just means it's was built FOR the Elite, but not specifically for it. Basically... Yeah, it'll work
