How does a peohen lay eggs?

Peahens, the female of the peacock species, lay eggs through a reproductive process similar to other birds. After mating with a peacock, a peahen will typically lay a clutch of eggs, usually ranging from 3 to 12, in a shallow nest on the ground. The eggs are then incubated for about 28 to 30 days before they hatch. During this time, the peahen will often stay close to the nest to protect her eggs from predators.
