How do seals survive the freezing water?

one possibility is, there skin numbs their insides so they cant feel if its freezing cold

The truth is, we dont actually know how they feelabout the temperature. We know from scientific evidence that they must respond to changing temperatures but we dont know much more than that.

Seals have an amazing ability to keep the core temperature of there body at a healthy level. Like humans, im sure seals require a steady food intake to maintain a positive internal temp.
