Can you play dragons of atlantis without facebook?

No u can not play it without a Facebook. I think it has something to do with the fact that DOA pays Facebook to have their game on Facebook and since it is the easiest place to securely buy things that u have to buy in the game to get (rubies u don't HAVE to buy them but u can) that is where they actually make money.
