Can you carry cockroach eggs if you stamp on one?

When you stamp on a cockroach, you may crush the insect and release its eggs if it is a female carrying an ootheca (egg case). However, the eggs themselves are typically enclosed in a protective casing, so simply crushing the roach might not directly transfer the eggs to you. It’s unlikely that you would carry the eggs away unless they were dislodged during the stamping. To avoid any risk, it's best to clean the area thoroughly afterward.
