How do you sync locations in assassins creed unity?

In Assassin's Creed Unity, you can sync locations by climbing to the top of viewpoints, which are marked on the map by eagle icons. Once you reach the viewpoint, interact with it to synchronize the area, revealing more of the map and unlocking new activities and missions nearby. Additionally, you can also sync locations by completing specific story missions or exploring certain landmarks.
