Crocodiles have Excellent camouflage, allowing them to blend seamlessly into their surroundings, particularly in water and along riverbanks, making them less noticeable to prey. Their eyes are positioned on the top of their heads, enabling them to see above the water while remaining mostly submerged. Additionally, their slow, stealthy movements help them approach prey without being detected, increasing their hunting success. In contrast, prey animals often focus on the water surface for threats and may overlook the well-camouflaged crocodile.
